Weekly GEMS Inspiration: Are You Listening? August 10, 2008

Are you listening to Him?  Often times we pray and ask God to answer our prayers.  Yet we forget that He wants us to wait silently upon Him; to Be still and just listen to Him?  I encourage you this week to take intimate, personal time with the Lord to just be still and listen to Him after you have prayed. What is He telling you? It is important that we listen to Him so that He can speak to our hearts. Prayer is important. God hears our prayers.  He also expects us to obediently listen to Him.  He desires to speak to our hearts and so I challenge you this week to make the time to listen to Him? Are you listening?
